All of this SOPA/PIPA debate will go away soon because large behemoths like Apple and Amazon finally stepped in and listened to what some of us were saying. But it will be tragic for open and tech start-up community because they will be stuck on the outside of a massive hornet’s nest of proprietary tech patents by a few behemoths. I finally gave up after trying for 10 years to tell them this was what was coming.
Although what is bad for the open and start-up tech community in massive corporate technology patent with browser interface and layering will still be a boon for independent film, tv and game dev etc. not the way I wanted it but… What do you do after 10 years banging head against wall just asking people to understand the Internet was not just about development know-how.
