IMHO - Ethos, Pathos, Logos.. A lot of web dev culture is about to realize that they should not lead by trying to be social but by these first. Appetite, Emotion, Utility. The rest will follow. Fast $$$ has built a culture focused on building cool looking carts with no horse or engine.

IMHO- The future of what the Internet is (especially with video and audio) resembles a lot more to a CSS type architecture than HTML5. That is where browsers are going wrong. HTML5 is a type of metal but it is not the car frame.

Pinterest is one of the first signs of why web dev culture has been so wrong about UI for the general public. Limited by their own demographic and culture. As “experts” & web devs still trash it on Google+ and Twitter as they have from it’s launch. As Facebook and Twitter’s cracks in ad and retail ROI With purchase instigation are making them looking way over-hyped.
The next Internet is coming more from people who have a lot of knowledge of audiences and customers with a touch of knowledge in technical knowhow …than vice-versa.

Have to say there is a shot of the jacket in ‘Drive’ that should be a lesson in foreshadowing. Can’t get this one shot out of my head.
